We believe acoustic music brings people together. It provides musicians, dancers, and audiences with a common tradition, repertoire, and language for making instant connection. We are working to transform Salt Lake City into a place where these acoustic styles and traditions can thrive. Swing, jazz, bluegrass, old-time, country, Klezmer, and beyond. By cultivating a vibrant musical community, maybe we'll see some Salt Lake musicians become part of the aforementioned list of musical titans.
We won't know unless we try. So come be a part of the musical movement we are building. Let's make Salt Lake City a celebrated music city, famed for its incredible musical energy; a Nashville or an Austin or a Los Angeles or a Paris. We have the raw ingredients here (plus epic mountains).
