FIDDLE TUNES STRINGBAND
The Fiddle Tunes Stringband partners with Arts Inc to bring fiddle music to elementary school students. They are dedicated to sharing the joy of fiddling and the rich tradition of fiddle music in America. The band introduces students to common string band instruments, demonstrating various styles and sounds. Through their teachings, students learn to distinguish between the fiddle and the violin, appreciate how music can narrate stories or enhance dances, and grasp basic concepts of harmony, rhythm, singing, and fiddling within a community setting.
